Role: UK Sales Manager
Location: Home Based Ideally based on the M1 corridor (Sheffield, Leicester, Derby, Birmingham, Northampton etc.)
Salary & Benefits: £50,000 to £45,000 + Car + Bonus (£10k - £15k)

Nicholas Associates Group is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client for an UK Sales Manager, to managing, maintaining and developing customer relationships with current and new customers and distributors throughout the UK.


Part of a global manufacturing giant, producing a range of bespoke Laboratory Equipment
Products range in from £50k to £1m value.

The role is home based, ideally you will be based within the M1 Corridor.
On average you will be out on the road 2-4 days per week with 1 -2 home day, driving is a core part of the role, typically 500+miles a week.


Manage and grow relationships with customers/distributors to achieve all goals set forth for those accounts, keeping customer service the priority.
Responsible for finding new customers and support growth.
Managing and developing a team of x2 Regional Sales Engineers
Good technical knowledge of products to support customer queries via phone, e-mail and in person.

Ideally the applicant will be HNC/HND/Degree qualified in a scientific/technical discipline including mechanical / electrical engineering, material sciences, physics, process engineering or be able to demonstrate work at an appropriate level.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of achievement in a sales-based role having ideally dealt with customers in both industry (manufacturing) and academia on a range of laboratory equipment sales.
You will be profit conscious in growing sales and strive to achieve budgeted sales volume in the sales period.

Strong problem-solving skills.

£50,000 to £55,000 p/a
