Salary £90K OTE £120K

We are looking for an experienced General Manager / Dealer Principal with a proven successful record in managing a large Automotive Franchised Dealership. This is a big role not intended for someone's 'first step' into General Management, but for an experienced Manager, to manage and motivate a large team.

The successful manager will have experience managing a similar sized Main Car Dealership, and have the ability to drive the business forward. As a General Manager your main role is to provide leadership and inspiration for the companies employees. You will represent a successful brand where their employees and the service that they provide are crucial to their success, therefore our Client is looking for a Manager with the experience and ability to develop and manage the sales and aftersales teams to achieve the highest standards possible. Current experience and a detailed understanding of the retail motor industry is essential. The successful candidate will be well-presented and have excellent interpersonal skills in order to overcome difficult situations successfully.
You should have up to date knowledge of Trade Descriptions, Consumer Protection and Consumer Credit Laws. Professional qualifications and membership of the I.M.I. are an advantage.
