Manufacturing Engineer

Blandford, Dorset

6 Month Contract, with possibility to extend.

£35,000 to £50,000 + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension Scheme + Health Scheme

Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm & Friday, 9am to 1pm.

Manufacturing Engineer required for a small and successful manufacturing facility based in Dorset offering a personable environment with freedom to innovate and implement your own ideas. The site is part of a well-established, privately owned manufacturer and service provider within the Oil and Gas industry.

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have previous project management experience. You will need experience within a similar role as a production, manufacturing or process engineer from within any manufacturing environment. Those with automotive experience or have worked with small components would be advantageous. You will need an HND or equivalent.

The Manufacturing Engineer:

*Design and development of the systems that will handle and prepare the small components.
*Working within a high volume environment.
*Full creation of manufacturing cell and implementing process flow.
*Manipulating small components for manufacture.
*Analysing data from machinery to see where improvements can be made.
*Reducing cycle time of production, waste reduction and increase product output quality where possible.
*Liaise with personnel to provide training and coaching for other members of the team.
*Production of mechanical installation diagrams.
*Collating, analysing and presenting design data.

The successful Manufacturing Engineer:

*You will have previous project management experience.
