Automotive, Motor Trade Job: Automotive Service Advisor Required in Stoke-on-Trent. 

Salary: Up to £20,000 Basic Per Annum, OTE £22,000 Per Annum

Our client, a large commercial vehicle dealer group based in Stoke, are currently recruiting a Service/Warranty Advisor for their reputable dealership in Stoke.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your role will involve the following tasks:

• Balance and reconciles service/warranty claims.
• Collects and accounts for payment to the retail facility according to established policies.
• Calculates charges for all parts, labour and service repairs and the accuracy of the charges.
• Initiates job documentation and maintains customer records and follow-up systems.
• Computes invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Co-ordinates Technician time records.
• Processes and enters warranty claims in full compliance of audit requirements.
• Advise other staff on warranty coverage and restrictions.
• Performs other reasonable activities required from time to time.

In order to be eligible you will need to hold a technical/mechanical comprehension of the principles of motor vehicles, be computer literate with experience of the Kerridge/ADP dealer management system, have an eye for detail, and an organised and methodical approach to your workload. Candidates will also need experience in an automotive aftersales role (ideally a similar Service/Warranty Administrator role or a Service Advisor or Workshop Controller role) within a vehicle dealership or experience in a warranty claims handling role. As the role also involves a high level of contact with internal customers and the vehicle manufacturer you will need to be a team player and be able to get on with others.

For your hard work our client is offering a starting salary of up to £20,000 per annum (depending on experience) alongside an incentivised bonus scheme to be discussed at interview stage. The hours worked are Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30 and possibly the last Saturday of the month (dependent on the work load).
