Our Automotive client is currently looking to hire an experienced HR Assistant to bring some experience into their already talented and professional HR department.

Based in Lancashire, this department looks after the Human Resources for the entire company.

Duties/Responsibilities:
To assist the Human Resources Manager with general HR administration. 
To assist with the day to day efficient operation of the HR office Create personnel files for new starters, with an electronic backup and update them as necessary Archive files for leaves Dealing with starters and leavers administration Printing, photocopying and preparing documents. 
To assist with HR queries from other managers and liaise with the HR Advisor. 
Administer all paperwork related to HR (such as employment contracts, leaver documents, amendments) Maintain the HR database so that it is kept up to date and accurate. 
Ensure holiday and sickness is up to date on HR database

Skills required 
Strong Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills Strong communication skills (written and oral) 
Good interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise work effectively and work to tight deadlines Strong accuracy and attention to detail Responsive and timely execution of administrative support Ability to maintain confidentiality 
Be able to work on own initiative & highly organised Possess a willingness to learn & show assertiveness 
Ability to liaise with Directors, Management and staff at all levels
